β β β every scale note on a string Β· β every scale note on a fret Β· strikes don't cost stars, but the piece is lost
How to play
Everyone gets the same neck and the same set of pieces each day.
Place each piece so every dot lands on a note of today's scale. The scale notes are hidden. Only the roots (dashed gold rings) are shown.
Land on a note outside the scale and it's a strike: the piece is used up and the wrong notes flash red.
Cover every scale note on a string for β β β . Cover every scale note on a fret (if it has 2 or more) for β .
You can see every piece that's coming, so plan ahead. If a piece has no in-scale spot left, it's skipped with no strike (β¬).
Peek shows the scale for a moment. It's allowed, but it goes on your share card.
Mouse: hover to aim, click to place. Touch: tap to aim, tap the same spot again to place.
Scales get harder through the week: pentatonic on Monday, exotic scales on Sunday.
Now the real thing
In the daily board, the blue dots are hidden. You only see the roots (gold rings) and the scale's notes listed at the top. Knowing where the scale lives on the neck is the whole game.
A dot outside the scale is a strike: the shape is lost.
Fill a fret for β , a whole string for β β β , and try to reach par.
You can see every shape that's coming, so plan ahead.
